Visit to Kek Lok Si.

Hmm, the last time i visited the Kek Lok Si temple was at 90's.
Recently, there was a newly built ornate shelter for the Kuan Yin statue. I have been told about the beauty of the temple.
So, i decided to go there.


Yesterday, my wife and i paid a visit to the temple.
Before that, we had koay jiap, claypot noodles and wantan mee as brunch. Appetizing!!

Guess what? So crowded there lo.
We could not even find a parking place. We ended up with parking our car in a lot which cost us RM3!


Shocking scene! Ewww..
There was a huge monitor lizard at the river bank nearby!!

















We started going up the hill.
The shoplots along the staircase were really eye openers for us. They were selling souvenirs like shirts and clay faeces which look exactly like real faeces, haha!
After a few footsteps, we arrived at the liberation pond where tortoises were released into the pond.
The tortoises were cute as they were so so so clumsy.
































We took the inclined lift, which was a bit too crowded and smelly. Yucks..!











































The scenery and statues at the top of the hill were just amazing.

There were statues of all the twelve Chinese zodiac.
They were carved nicely. Hope you might appreciate their beauty.
































































Besides the huge Kuan Yin statue, there is pond filled with Koi(鲤鱼). The fishes are smart. They swam in a flock in a circular motion around the fountain, forming a fantastic scenery!





















































Hehe, we bought two rice necklaces with our Chinese and English names on them.
They were our 10th month anniversary present for each other!
Thanks to the young man who made the necklaces for us,
excellent hand work!

















Well, it was a terrific journey. I knew more about our religious and the environment there was relaxing.

I Turned 17. [part II]

We went to have “煮炒” as dinner.
Hmmm. The dishes were not really that excellent lo.
But, we kept "blah..blah..blah"-ing with one another.
That was harmony.

After having our dinner, we went back my home.
Once again, cake cutting event! But this time, the cake was bought by my parents.
Although the cake was small, but everyone thumbed up for its tastiness.
It was such a temptation.
I just can't resist it. So, i ate another piece of the cake when my wife² and i were on the way back to her home. =]


























Before heading to our destination, we went to Times Square as the night was still young.
It was a beautiful night.
There were christmas decorations everywhere, of course we took photos of them.
















































As we were walking to the colourful fountain,
we could not believe what we were looking at.
A cone formed by wires with hundreds of small leds along them.
And there was a star on top of the cone.
It is nice, isn't it?
I was pretty amazed by its appearance O.o


















































































At around 9.30pm, i said goodbye to my wife².

When i was at home, i read the booklet.
Only my wife² knew what had happened next! I won't share it, blek =p
We kept in touch until it was 12am.
One last time, "Happy Birthday!" and i am no longer a birthday boy!

No doubt, this was the most unforgettable birthday in these 17 years.
Thanks to everyone who celebrated my birthday with me, especially my parents and finally my wife².

I Turned 17. [part I]

Since last month, my wife² have kept telling me that she will buy me presents when we go KL.
Time flies..
Yesterday was my 17th birthday and it was the most unforgettable.
I won't forget this day for my entire life.




It was just a few seconds after the day turned from 14th to 15th.
It was just a few seconds after 12.00am.
My phone began to ring and the ringing did not stop for a few minutes.
Guess what? They were the phone calls and messages from my fellow friends and family.















At the beginning, it was nothing to me.
But, when i found out the truth, i was really surprised.
I never thought my wife² who is always a not creative person could have done something like this. Hehe. Dear, please do forgive me for my comments. =]
But at least, she learned something from me in these 9 months. Im proud of you, dear!
This is a gift for you, muackzzz!!
It was the effort of my wife² - Michelle.
She messaged all my friends the day before my birthday and asked them to wish me.
Thanks, dear. You m..m..m..make me happy!
But, there was more to go. >.^


My wife² and i went to Seoul Garden, Gurney Plaza for our lunch.
The food is just amazing.
We have really filled our stomach there, yummy~~!
Those beef were superb. 4 star-rated maybe? :D
She also made two birthday eggs for me. *happy*
The eggs were very red. I should conclude that my wife² did it purposely as this is a sign of prosperity or she is too awkward as she used too much red dye?

Well, my wife², i do like those eggs.
They were tasty, especially the second one!The one with half-boiled egg york!























































After our lunch, we went to the beach.
Just when we were relaxing ourselves on the bench, she went to the toilet.
After a few minutes, what an astonishing scene that came right in front of my eyes.
She was holding a gift box and a container with cupcakes inside it. ><
I was pretty shocked and i could not make give response besides smiling idioctically. =.=


There were 17 cupcakes with different patterns of design. 10 of them were designed with Hamtaro faces and 3 with Michael Jackson(my idol). 4 of them were written "Happy Birthday To Darren". The cakes were really cute and nicely designed.
Attention: Thanks to Nor, who made the cakes =D
She sang the birthday song to me and i blew the lighted candle off after i have made a wish(a secret), hehe.
But now im telling the secret. It was forever! Shhh..!!








































Inside the cute gift box, there were a letter, a small card, 7 Hamtaro dolls, a self-made booklet and finally a t-shirt which i like it very much.
My wife² asked me to read the booklet at night.






































































We played at the beach for more than an hour.
I was touched by her effort for my birthday. Thus, I used the sea shells and came out with something as shown in the picture below.














At around 6pm, we went back to my house and were going out with my parents and grandpa for dinner.
Dear, you shined up my day.
