KL Trip - 1st Day

Wow, i could not remember when i bought our super cheap airline tickets which cost only RM15 for both to and fro trips, i guess it was exactly six months ago.
The purchase was meant to relax ourselves after a string of hectic months preparing for our exam.
Thank God that our exam was finally over and after a one-month waiting period which felt like a year, my wife² and i finally got to utilise the airline tickets i have mentioned above.

We forced ourselves to wake up at 5 am in order to catch our 7am flight.
Although we both have already web checked in, we nearly missed our flight to Kuala Lumpur, really close but it was not our fault.
We were surprised as a horrible unprecedented incident just took place at Penang International Airport.
There was a massive long queue from the security gate to the check in kiosk, how terrifying.
I guess, a big portion of the crowd missed their respective flights.
Anyhow, my wife² and i would be one of them if we were not uncivilised, if we did not cut the queue.
Aww, i was too rush or else i could snap the situation down and show it to you all.
Our plane departed a few minutes after we boarded the plane.

After 45 minutes of travel in the sky, my wife² and i finally arrived at LCCT safely.
We quickly grabbed ourselves two-way Aerobus tickets for RM14 per person and sprinted to the yellow bus along with our large, heavy luggage.
LOL, the bus driver started the engine only when most seats were occupied.

The journey to KL Sentral took us an hour with no stopping all the way, you can see how far is the airport from the centre of town.
Uh oh, we missed the 8am bus to Genting and the next one was at 12pm but the time was only 9 something now.
We can't afford to lose time so we looked for a cab.
There was one blue Innova cab available and coincidentally, there were 3 guys who agreed to share the taxi fare.
In the end, my wife² and i were charged a total of RM50.
Yes, it was more expensive than taking a bus but our journey to Genting Highlands only consumed 45 minutes where as a bus would take 1.5 hours.
The cab dropped us off directly at the First World Hotel lobby.
Thanks to the frantic morning, we perspired a lot and that was why we took a shower despite the cold weather right after checking into our hotel.
Again, credits to the morning, my wife² and i only took our proper meal at Marrybrown right now.
We then purchased our all park unlimited one day tickets from the nearest kiosk at RM62 each.

First, my wife² and i headed to the outdoor park to have a barrel of fun.
Few steps into the park, we bumped into our ex college classmate who was on the Spinner ride.
We shared one paddle boat and eventually had a sweet and romantic time.
Unfortunately and sadly, we were told that both of us are not eligible for the bumper boat.

All the other amusing rides were congested with visitors so we went for the Tea Cup.
You spin my head right round, right round!
My wife² and i felt extremely dizzy as we rotated our Ribena cup like crazy.

Woohoo, the Cyclone roller coaster was opened while we finished being spun clockwise and anti-clockwise.
We did not have to wait long for our turn.
For your information, my wife² screamed just like those two kids behind me did.

We then tried the other rides such as Spinner, Flying Jumbo, Pirate Ship, Matahari (Ferris Wheel) and lastly Flying Dragon.

Exhaustion started to take over, both of us were tired and dizzy.
Therefore, we went back to our room to took a rest and to energize ourselves with a cup of Starbucks signature hot chocolate and banana chocolate muffin.

My wife² and i napped for an hour before walking to the outdoor park for the scary Space Shot.
I got to admit i was afraid and this thing was way too terrifying!
Imagine that you are at a height of 185 feet and you are experiencing a free fall from that particular spot.
During the free fall, i felt my buttock was on the verge of being torn apart, don't ask me why cause i don't know why while my wife² was screaming like it is the end of the world until she was totally out of tune.

After that horrible experience, we had a photo shooting section inside the park.

The outdoor was now closed which means that we did not get to try exciting rides like Corkscrew, Double Deck Carousel, Pirate Train and Grand Prix Fun Kart.
Oh ya, the Sungai Rejang Flume Ride and Dinosaurland were closed for inspection.
We had our dinner at First World Plaza before moving on to enjoy the indoor rides.

My wife² and i basically have tried any single ride we could locate in the indoor park except those which are not included in our park tickets.

We said goodbye to the indoor park with a cup of McDonald's Sundae Cup and a few buns from a bakery.
Having ice cream was awesome at Genting.

It was only a few steps to our room which is located at the newer Tower 2.
Goodnight, world!
