The Getaway.

'Thank you for your corporation, students. You may dismiss now.'

Wow, i can see a smile on everybody's face.
The atmosphere was very noisy and happy, fulled of chit-chatting.
My wife² and i immediately drove ourselves to a petrol station nearby, to refill some petroleum and of course to have our car checked.
It is better to have some checkups before a road trip, and we will be heading to Bukit Merah Laketown Resort!
Alright, the car is in a good condition and we had Mc Donald's for breakfast, yummy.
Better recharge myself with a cup of hot coffee.

Yummy and we're ready to go right now.
This was the first time my wife² and i travel beyond the island, driving by ourselves.
Surely, we were gaining some experience on the road.
It took us only 45 minutes to reach Bukit Merah.

First impression, the weather there was hot, even worst than Penang.
I can feel that my skin is burning!
Without hesitating, we purchased the water Eco combo which includes entrance tickets to the water park, Eco park and chairlift or skycycle.
We've rented two lockers and an inflatable double tube.
Let's see what we've got on our checklist.
The one and only, sunscreen application, checked!
Time waits for no man.
My wife² and i can't wait to bathe ourselves in the cool and cold water.
Awesome! And, i will let the pictures do the talking.

The chairlift.

Fantastic ride, looks and feels like a jelly ice cream.

Dynamite, the Boomerang!! My wife² was terrified by this exotic ride.

Unfortunately, i didn't bring along my camera to the Eco park due to some inconveniences.
The atmosphere in the Eco park is really like forest-like, very natural.
Honestly, i will be very afraid if i am alone there.
There are beautiful peacocks, black bear cats, gigantic and tiny snakes, horrifying crocodiles, deer, apes etc.
It was a nice and wet trip.
The next time when my wife² and i are travelling abroad, surely it will be a wet trip again.
Target locked on, Pulau Langkawi!

Happy Half Milestone.

You know what?
Men are like wine. Some turn to vinegar, but the best improve with age.
And, he is the odd one out, the one of the best.
Here we go, he is Pappa-Pia, aka my dad.

First of all, i am wishing him a Happy 50th Birthday!!
My dad, who was born in 1960, has tasted the sweets and bitters, has gone through all the highs and lows for his family, for us, for me.
What he've done will be remembered and are all in my debt.
To pay off the debt, the only thing required is filiality.

Today was my dad's 50th birthday and i can't figure out what to buy as a present for him.
Suddenly, the light bulb went on in my mind and my wife² inspired me to create such an idea, indeed a very lame one.
After getting all the ingredients ready, i started my project.
To surprise the birthday man, I woke up in the middle of the night and cooked my dad a pair of red eggs.
And, i placed the eggs together with a photo frame and birthday card on the table.
According to my mom, he was really surprised and i was so regret that i missed his reactions and facial expression, aikss!

At night, my wife² joined us for dinner.
Wow, she brought my dad some organic stuffs which are very healthy.
It was too kind of her!
We had a delectable meal, and enjoyed the chit-chatting moment.
How could you call it a birthday when there is no even a piece of cake?
So pity of my dad and so paiseh of myself, he bought himself a cheese cake which is extremely scrumptious.
You can feel that the cake is melting in your mouth and leaving you longing for just one more bite.
I am becoming a huge fan of cheese cake, so do my wife².
Actually, she is a huge fan of every edible stuffs, haha.

After all, thousands of thank you to you, dad.
And one last time...

♥ ²ºᵀᴴ ♥

Woah, in a blink of an eye and it was now again the 22th.
Hmm, that is our mensiversary and today was the 20th one.
Let me do the maths.
Yup, we've been together for exactly 1 and ⅔ years, that is quite impressive.
But it felt like just 6 months.
There is no sense of time, with you and i!

Luckily, we did not have any class today but the celebration was just a plain one.
My wife² and i were just having lunch together and did some shopping today.
Although we did nothing much, nothing special today, but we were very happy.
No matter what we do, as long as we are together, i am happy.

We had our lunch at our favourite restaurant, Chicago Rib House which serves quality food.
Get prepared, the pictures below are surely temptations for you.
The soup of the day, beef soup!

My wife²'s all time favourite, Grilled Blackened Catch.

My chicken cheese with bacon burger.

Finally, the dessert, Brownie.

Yummy!
After fulfilling your stomach, don't laze around, or else you will be getting more prosperous.
My wife² and i did some light exercise, walking around Gurney plaza.
Surely, you are asking "there is no present, isn't it?"
I've told you, there won't be absence of present whenever there is any celebration.

I bought my wife² a beach halter top as we are traveling to Langkawi this December.
And, she received another present from me, a gophers smashing game device which is very portable.
This little cute device is to let my wife² relax whenever she is tired or bored.
See how much i love you, dear!
I really hope you will enjoy the game.

Well, that was all for our 20th mensiversary.
It was quite a short and simple day, but we really appreciate it.
Hmm, how i wish our examination ends as soon as possible.
And then, we really can enjoy ourselves.
We will be going beyond the island!
