Time flies.
And let's say goodbye to Valentine's Day.
Hmm, i just came back from our celebration for the special day, exhausted but it felt so sweet.
Since this blog is about all the small things happened around us and we did not celebrate CNY together, so i would just write about our celebration for Valentine's Day.
Well, we met just after the sunset, dressed up in our prettiest clothes.
My wife² did look so gorgeous tonight, dressed up in a night dress.
We did really care about our appearance as we were going to Cititel, Penang for our sweet and romantic dinner.
The hotel lobby and the Citi room (place which we dine at) were nicely decorated with lanterns and balloons.
We were being seated by one of the service crew and he lighted up our table's candle.
Wow, it was real, just like what its advertisement stated, it was really a candle light dinner.
We both adored the atmosphere there, romantic and relaxing.
The menu.
I handed over the gifts to my wife², a bouquet of paper roses, a piece of paper printed with my self-made poem and some fashion accessories.
She love them so much!
After a minute, we were requested to choose our own drinks.
I regret that i have chosen fruit juice instead of wine.
Our drinks were served along with a bun, and a small plate of butter.
After that, came the appetizer, Fresh Scallops and Tiger Prawns Cocktails.
Yummy, the scallops and prawns were very fresh and were topped with salad dressings, excellent!
Next, it was the time for the Lobster Bisques with Enokie Mushrooms.
Woah, the thick, creamy, highly-seasoned soup was awesome.
I even felt that the juice of the lobster meat flowing slowly into my mouth, mixing with my saliva.
Here came the main courses, i chose Pan-roasted Chicken Roulade With Pistachio Stuffing And Honey Mustard Sauce, while my wife² chose Seared Salmom Escalope With Mango And Pink Peppercorns Relishes.
You do know what are my comments, as they were prepared by the hotel chief.
Great!
Spending quite a lot of time eating those and now, dessert time!
Green Tea Mousse In Black Sesame Tulip With Strawberry Compote and freshly brewed coffee or tea were the desserts served.
Quite a peculiar pud, but nothing special for the coffee and tea.
We got a gift from the Cititel crew, a 4R sized picture of us by the table.
Oh ya, that was not the only gift, they left us a marriage magazine, a cosmetic pouch and a bottle of UV lotion, quiet caring.
Wa, we have spent 2 hours at the hotel.
After the meal, we wandered around Gurney Drive.
Hmm, the flower attracted attentions from quite a number of people, of course, it is special.
Damn it, so tiring.
We took a rest at Coffee Island nearby, ordered a French Toast, a glass of Hot Chocolate Island and Mixed Berries Smoothie.
The toast was delicious but the drinks were normal, not worth it.
But, the atmosphere was so high, so hot, packed with youngsters.
Hehe, there were a few pak cik, mak cik there lo.
Dong, dong..
The bell rang, it was 12am.
We got back to our home respectively, with exhaustion on the outside and high level of sweetness in the inside.
I Love You, dear.
Yup, i purposely custom made 100 paper roses into a bouquet.
That do has a special meaning and you do know what it is.
Paper roses represent my love to you which lasts forever.
And, why do i picked 100 roses instead of 99?
100 roses = i give you my world, one-hundred percent.
